stomp rocket March 5, 2010 Rainhater (Seattle, WA) I am so happy that I bought this for my 6 yr old grandson. Everyone in the family loves playing with it. So far, no problems with it at all and the 6 yr old has no trouble making the rockets fly. It's still pretty new so I am not sure how the durability will be but so far I am VERY happy with it. By the way, the jr glow rockets work great with this.
Fun toy for my 6,7 year old nephews February 26, 2010 seeker (Atlanta, GA) They love showing this off to their friends but besides the initial excitement this toy has little to offer. It is fairly durable, contains multiple rockets (incase any should get lost like ours did). Recommended.
stomp rocket February 1, 2010 DGJ (Fl) this was a good purchase for my 5 year old son. It does go far if you jump on it hard enough. We've only had it for about a month so I am not sure if it is durable. You can tilt the rocket to go straight up or sideways or any direction you wish. I would say it is a good toy for his age.
How has this toy survived? Wow. January 19, 2010 K. M. Like (Austin, Texas, USA) My 6 year old brother is a whirlwind. His family nickname is "Captain Destruct-o", and with good reason. The boy hasn't failed to destroy a toy yet, excluding his Wii. I got the stomp rocket because it was cheap and looked like fun. That way, I wouldn't be too mad once he destroyed it. WRONG. I received it on time right before Christmas and it is still sitting, completely intact, in my front yard. The rockets, however, were all lost Christmas morning. We eventually got 2 of them back, but they've already been lost again. The rockets themselves aren't too expensive, so I'm probably going to buy a few here and there for back ups. But with Captain Destruct-o and a 260lb man going at this thing like crazy, the only thing they managed to do was get the rockets WAY higher than 200ft. Definitely a great buy, and obviously very durable.
I want my own stomp rocket! January 19, 2010 Mary Jane Owen (Iowa) I bought this toy for my sister's boyfriend's son. I didn't know what he was interested in so I took a chance on the Stomp Rocket. It was a huge hit for everyone at my family's Christmas. It is ready to play with as soon as you open the box (which is a big deal to kids--no untying cords, no pocketknives needed, no major plastic packaging, etc.). It is incredibly easy to use. You slip on a foam rocket and then you stomp on the plastic air pad. We used it indoors since it was snowing outside and it was perfectly safe. It went a LONG way! The kids really enjoyed it but I think every adult in the room also had a go at it. A great gift idea for any kid--and relatively cheap! $11 was totally worth it! I will definitely buy this product again.
