Product Description For over 30 years, Hi Ho! Cherry-O has delighted children and parents with its simple-yet-fun introduction to counting. Children try to be first to pick their trees clean, filling their buckets with cherries. Just watch out for the dog, the bird, and the spilled bucket! Colors and parts may vary. No reading required. Includes gameboard, four cherry buckets and 40 plastic cherries. For 2 to 4 players.
Editorial Review Round and round she goes. Hi Ho! Cherry-O is the counting game in which players race to be the first to have 10 cherries in their basket. A spin of the arrow determines your fate. It will instruct you to pick one, two, three, or four cherries from your tree and put 'em in your basket. That is, of course, if you don't land on the bird or the dog, requiring you to take two cherries from your basket and return them to the tree. And try not to land on the spilled bucket or--you guessed it--spill the contents of your basket or you start over. --Alison Golder

A very good and educational game August 14, 2010 Lapa Our 4-year-old loves it. We play all together and we all enjoy it (my husband and I). It's educational, but he doesn't even notice how he uses math. It's fun math It's very colorful and teaches a child to take turns. I would recommend this game.
What i expecteded. July 26, 2010 Rony-kun (norcross, GA USA) My brother and i are having a good time with this game. He is 5 yrds old and i'm 23. His learning how to count which he haven't been trained at it. We really like it.
Great New Colors Since I Was a Kid July 20, 2010 S. Leslie (Plano, TX United States) My son (2 1/2) is still too young to play. So I can't tell you how well it holds a child's attention span. I think its great that the fruit pieces come in different colors now. I just worry about loosing the pieces since they are small. I think it will be great for sorting by color, counting and learniing about turn taking.
My 3 year old loves it March 31, 2010 CR (Silver Spring, MD) My 3 year old loves this game. I personally hate games for kids but the excitement he gets out of playing this game is worth it. He can practice taking turns and counting. There are a lot of little pieces that can get lost, which is the only negative thing.
As one of the original players of this game... March 21, 2010 Todd (Chandler, AZ USA) My parents invented this game back in 1960. I remember sitting down with them as a four-year-old along with my sisters and "trying out" the game as mom and dad took notes. It did help us all learn how to count, which was exactly the idea. Every one of their grandchildren and great-grandchildren learned basic counting with this game. It's simple and easy to understand, which is why this game has been around and has been successful for so many years.
My dad recently passed away and one of the things he was most proud of was inventing this game that helped so many children learn math. It's nice to see that part of his legacy is knowing that Hi-Ho-the-Cherry-O is the most popular education board game sold by Amazon 50 years later.
