Product Description As each Hisss snake slithers its way across the playing area, it introduces color identification and visual logic: Does it make sense to have a snake with two tails and no head' Are those two colors the same or not' Even elementary counting skills come into play during scoring at the end of the game. No reading required. For 2 to 5 players.

Preschool Favorite July 6, 2010 Victoria Lee (Arizona) I purchased Hisss to use as part of a preschool unit on deserts. We've had it for two years now and still use it often. The cards are thick and durable. The game is easy to play, it is educational, and fun. It has been a classroom favorite. We like to play it as a family as well. Our seven year old has moved on to other games, but the five and three year old still ask for this one.
Great for family June 10, 2010 G. Greene (Virginia) I often have a hard time finding games that both my preschooler and 2nd grader can play together. This is perfect. I enjoyed playing with them. I haven't found a Gamewright game that hasn't been great.
A great first game May 13, 2010 John Willoughby (Amherst, MA) What I like about this game apart from the robust cards, and the simple rules mentioned in other reviews is that it is just a lot of fun for small children to put the snake cards together matching colours and making the biggest snakes they can.
In this respect it makes a wonderful matching toy for children at around or a little under three to play with on their own (as my own daughter did) and the rules can be introduced later as the child gets a little older.
Grandma and Grandpa love to play this game. May 8, 2010 R. Carter (ONSET, MA, US) I found this game at a thrift store and played it with the grands, aged 4 and 6. It was a big hit. The 4 yr.old picked it up fast. The adults enjoyed it. The snakes are so colorful and the table is soon filled with beautiful snakes. At Amazon I purchased three new Hiss games for my other grandchildren. It's rare to find a game the 4 year old can play with the whole family. A great birthday gift !!
My Daughter Loves it May 7, 2010 phoenix1001 (Naperville, IL) My daughter loves this game, although she calls the snakes dragons. She enjoys matching all the pieces together and playing "flash cards" with them.
